A Passion for Sourdough
At The Humble Crumb, we are passionate about our breads. Our love for sourdough began in our family kitchen with a simple conversation among friends. We never imagined the magic behind turning simple ingredients into something extraordinary. What started as a weekend challenge quickly grew into a passion for perfecting the art of slow fermentation and traditional rustic baking methods. The process of creating, developing and nurturing a sourdough starter, watching it rise, and crafting each loaf by hand became more than a hobby; it became our healthy and therapeutic way of life.
Today, The Humble Crumb is our way of sharing this amazing ancient craft with others by offering our breads that are not only delicious, but made with love, care and a deep respect to the art of creating a rustic, artisanal and delicious sourdough loaf.

All artisan Humble Loaves are made using traditional, slow fermentation process to enhance flavor and texture. To ensure availability of your choice, a 2 day in advance is recommended from the time you need your order to be ready.
